How Do I Create My Own Reality?

You have a feeling it’s time for you to focus on your physical health.
Or you pray to meet the love of your life.
Or perhaps you think it’s time to make a shift in your career.
“I create my own reality” is the mantra we all have saved on our phones and truly want to believe – so why hasn’t it happened?
Very simple.
If you have history that hasn’t been healed (or finished) – What you are essentially saying is,
“I will allow this next stage of my life to manifest, but it has to be timed at a rate that honors the pain of my past.  This new shift must occur in such a way, that it does not trigger the unfinished business I am currently holding onto”
It is TIME to confront the shadows that are holding you back.
All of the energy your chakras are generating, is being directed at your past other than the possibilities of your future.  You need more present-time energy.
“How do I generate present-time energy?”
Let go of the past.
Give up the need to know why things happen as they do.  Make no judgements and have no expectations, and trust that what is being created in the present moment is for your highest self and is of the best intention.
“How do I know what pain I am holding onto?”
“How do I know what shadows I am burying deep within me?”
“How do I let go?”
You need to be self-aware.
A simple way to practice self-awareness is to be come the observer.
Start by observing your thoughts – “I wonder why..” statements.
“I wonder why I keep thinking of leaving my job”
“I wonder why I’m always skeptical of my boyfriend cheating on me”
“I wonder why I don’t like being touched or hugged”
“I wonder why I brag about my career around her”
“I wonder why I don’t take the time to eat healthy”
“I wonder why I don’t sleep very well at night”
When you observe your thoughts and reactions, you are self-reflecting.
Self-reflection requires vulnerability, transparency, and total honesty.  When the emotional and soulful actions are integrated within you in daily life and in all your relationships, then you have opened yourself up to infinite opportunities.
If you do not choose to redirect your energy, you are choosing to allow your past to create your present, in which any guidance or inspiration will take 5 years to manifest in your life, because you don’t want to let go of 5 years of your history.
“What am I holding onto from my past that is preventing me from creating a new present?”
Pain and trauma.  This duo has a voice of their own.
They are deep-rooted elements in yourself that constantly have input in every choice you make.
They declare to be heard and acknowledged, and if you do not know how to nurture them, they will become the shadows that will never stop haunting you.
Every painful memory you have is actively making a choice to create your health, your relationships, your present moment.  Whether the choice serves you or destroys you, is a manifestation of the story you have created about your experiences.
[ example ]
I have a deep insecurity about being wildly different.  Each day, I make millions of choices that may or may not trigger this trauma.  What if I hadn’t chose to lean in to the desire to dye my hair blue (or pink or purple)?   What if I distanced myself from learning new philosophies and new age thought because I chose to feed my pain?
When you choose to honor your pain and to create a story that empowers you towards freedom, you become the visionary, the decision maker – you become a creator.
You create your reality.
Choose to create the one you want.
Namaste.
